Glasgow.....finally

So, I finally heard from scotland.

here's the email I got:
Dear Allegra,

I am sorry to inform you that the Glasgow School of Art has not selected your application for the Spring 2009. I know you worked very hard on your application. The following is their explanation: ‘Whilst this student is a good student and appropriate for our course, unfortunately we were over subscribed this year and have had to make a difficult decision’

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of assistance to help you in the future.

I'm kind of mostly surprised, if not shocked, rather than sad. I mean yeah, I'm sad I don't get to go to scotland and live there and have that experience, but I'm also really (really) relieved I don't have to have nervous anxiety-induced nightmares about going to europe on my own for the first time anymore.

oh well, at least I can stop worrying about it now, even if I do have to spend the whole year at pratt. At least I have a sweet room. And I won't have to spend time posting what I'm doing every day while I'm there.
